Cupcake Emporium in Savannah

So cute. We visited back in October during a weekend in Savannah. We didn't get cupcakes- we ended up with a blueberry muffin and chocolate cheesecake and split an both. Both were excellent. The woman working that night was super nice, and spent some time talking with us before we left. We'll have to come back to try the cupcakes, which we've been told are entirely scratch made, no mixes.

Friendly staff and delicious desserts.

I crave baked goods regularly and have tried just about every bakery in a 30 minute radius of Savannah. This place is definitely my favorite for cupcakes! Lots of options, always moist with a fresh, homemade taste.

Yummy macarons!

Lacking customer service! I asked for a few sprinkles to be dropped on my cupcakes and was told no as if was a huge inconvenience. As I exited the store they proceeded to say "next time if you call ahead we can put some on for you". Might I add it wasn't busy at all when I stopped by. I completely understand if the store had a long line or it was the end of the night and all supplies were put up. But for this to be my 1st time after being advised to try them, I will NEVER return nor will I recommend them. Sadly for them, they have no clue of the business I could given them! Hope everyone else's experience is way better than mine in the future!

Mabel's is such a charming, cute dessert shop and the location can't be beat. The selection is great and every cupcake I've tried has been outstanding.

Great cupcakes & other desserts. It was recommended by our concierge & we were not disappointed. The staff was very friendly & helpful. Definitely go back whenever in Savannah.

My daughter and I were in Mabel's yesterday afternoon. It was our first visit, and we both enjoyed our selections. The coffee cupcake is ABSOLUTELY delicious!!!!

Tiny little place. No bathroom. $2 macaroons. $3 cupcakes. We had macaroons. They were good.

Most delightful place! I went looking for the best macarons in Savannah and I believe I found them. All such delightful flavors. Absolutely no regrets! The service is very personable. Welcoming atmosphere. And of course, the cupcakes - yes! This is a must visit for any cupcake fanatics. Mabel's will not disappoint your sweet tooth!

We stopped in on a whim to pick up some cupcakes for a friend of mine’s birthday and my boyfriend and I got some for us as well. They were delicious! It’s a cute little bakery but you’ll miss it if you’re not paying attention. It’s definitely on our list of yummy places in Savannah

Our hotel was across the street which made this place too convenient. Cupcakes were awesome. The lady behind the counter was awesome she was friendly, funny and even had my daughter smiling which is hard to do with strangers. I've never had a good macaroon before so she gave us one to try. We came back on our last night to buy six to take home with us. She made me finally appreciate them.

Great dessert items, but don't expect low prices. Prices are fair given the quality, detail, and taste. Nice for a quick sugar high to get energy for one of the nicest tourist areas in Savannah.

My only complaint is that I wish they were open longer... I absolutely love the Mabel's Original cupcake! I haven't had anything bad here, whether it's the cupcakes, macaroons, or pastries. What they may lack in variety (compared to your local generic grocery store mediocrity) they DEFINITELY make up for in quality! There's a lot of heart put into this place, which you can both see and taste~

Just had the Famous Mabel’s cupcake and it was very moist and the icing is delish!! True yellow cake flavor. Definitely more of the buttery cream tasting icing which I LOVE vs Wicked Cakes confectionary sugar tasting icing. I just prefer a creamier icing. Also got banana cupcake. So many traditional and fun flavors. Enjoy!

A delightful shop! We experienced the iced coffees and scrumptious roaky road cookie cupcakes. Everything else looked amazing as well. On top of the wonderful treats, the service was incredible. We were waiting for road side assistance while there and the woman who was working was very accommodating to our situation. She was very friendly and sweet, making us we felt extremely welcomed.

Macarons were hard, but tasty.Cupcakes were waaaay too sweet. No one could finish them.

On par with DIY boxed cake and canned frosting. Not major city bakery level, but kids will like it either way if that's what you're looking for.

There's a nice seating area inside where you can watch people go by (it's across from the parking garage but still nice).We tried the Pecan and the Vanilla cupcakes. Both were tasty, though the Pecan was a bit crumbly and dry. The flavor was great, though, so perhaps it was because we came in at the end of the night.

My family and I tried macarons there for the first time today. Delicious! Can’t wait to go back. Wish they shipped!

Some of the best cupcakes I've ever had. The icing is very rich but good. The Mabel cupcake are very rich and have that old fashion taste to them.

A little over priced and macaroons were a bit dry. Disappointed.

Today we went for the first time. We tried the macaroons and a few cupcakes. The macaroons were awesome, the cupcakes had a great taste and the frosting was delicious, not too sweet. The staff made our trip worth it, they were very friendly and funny. Overall I recommended it. The items were priced right because they were high quality!!

We wanted a late night snack and the front desk at the Andaz suggested Mabel’s. I’m so glad we gave it a try friendly staff and delicious cupcakes!

I am a very snobby sweets and pastry person as I am a self taught baker. Trying to escape the annoying music happening at the City Market I ventured in to get some macarons. I have only ever had them maybe once or twice before and not from an actual bakery so I had high hopes. I got 6 different flavors and I can't say that they tasted much different from one another. Maybe the most subtle of differences. Now, the texture didn't seem as light and delicate as we thought they should. This could have been because of the time of day we got them and I only had 1 that evening and the rest the next day but they seemed to dry, crumbly and almost hard. I expected them to be more delicate than they were. Guess I should have went with their namesake and gotten a cupcake!

Oh goodness. The cupcakes are UNREAL! Scored myself a strawberry cupcake and it was phenomenal. Staff was so friendly and the shop was very cute. Little seating area in the back and they also offer coffee if you need a little pick me up. Highly recommend if you got a sweet tooth.

This was a great idea. Terrible for my waistline, but delicious cupcakes and other delicious treats. A must stop for anyone. Much more than just cupcakes too.

Best cupcakes ever! Love the original, we look forward to every trip to Savannah just to hit Mabel's. No bathroom, but it's a cupcake people, not a four star restaurant. We have always had sweet, friendly interactions with the staff!

The associate working tonight from NC (sorry didnt catch her name) was very informative & a wonderful person to chat with!! We purchased 3 different items all was very delicious!! We highly recommend anyone visiting Savannah to stop at Mabel's!! You won't be disappointed!!

Delicious cupcakes and macarons!

My girlfriend and I visited Savannah this weekend and knowing my weakness for sweets I had to stop in. I was not disappointed! I got the banana foster and the vanilla. The real treat was an employee by the name of Masha. Her energy and charisma was amazing. Take a stop in and treat yourself!!

Not a huge cupcake fan so I don’t think it is my place, but they do have a variety of cupcakes and nice service. Space is tight.

The cupcakes were so yummy! I had the original and the red velvet. The owner was so sweet and welcoming. I enjoyed my conversation with her and was a very homey little bakery.

Unbelievable cupcakes. The Lemon cupcake and Mabel's butter cream were amazing. I wish they were closer to Leopold's ice cream parlor so I could combine the two. :)

Nephew said 5 stars! I agree. I am very picky about my cupcakes and macarons. Cupcake was moist, fluffy, and delicious. Macaron was made right. When I bit into it, it was crunchy and didnt collapse into a molasses-like chewy thing as many macarons from other places do. I will definitely come back!

I bought 2 German chocolate macaroons for my husband one day last week. He loved them. He said you have got to try these. They were delicious. So the day we were leaving town I went back to get some to bring home to Tennessee. Trust me you won’t be disappointed.
